Hello Bangkok

June Holiday is here!

Time for a short holiday trip to recharge. It has been months of crazy working nonstop for me and I am so looking forward to take a short break from work.

We took the Tiger Airways to BKK this time round together with the kids' ye ye and nai nai and our helper, Ruchel. This is also a reward trip for our helper after helping us for 2 years. Luckily, she has agreed to sign 2 more years of contract with us. Booked the trip in Feb, thus the tickets are pretty cheap. Why I choose Tiger Airways? Cos we have a total of 5 adults and 2 kids and it is only a short flight timing.

We took a cab to Changi Airport and check-in immediately to have our late lunch as our flight departure time is 3:30pm. Our kids have certainly grown up a lot since our last trip to Australia. They are able to carry their own backpack and pull their luggage bags. I can finally look forward to more trips with them..hehe..

Onboard the plane, the kids took a nap and only woke up when we reached BKK airport. We managed to clear the customs very fast as they had a special queue for the old, and passengers with young children. Took a 45min cab ride to our hotel apartment, The Empire Place.

The kids while waiting for mummy to complete the check-in.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, where the living room sofa can be converted to a queen size bed too. Just nice for all of us.

After dropping of our luggages, we quickly went for our late dinner at Sarah Jane which is 1 min walk from our hotel. No photos as we were too tired and too hungry.

Thats pretty sum up our first day in BKK!
