Hong Kong Day 3 - Happy Disneyland

Day 3 in Hong Kong

Today, we planned to spend a full day in Disneyland just for our little prince. Below we have kids, hb and I had never stepped foot into any theme park during our holiday trips as he is afraid of rides..hehe.
Now, with our 2 little darlings, theme park is a must in most trip. Happy time for mummy who loves thrilling rides too. :)
Took the free shuttle bus from our hotel to the Disneyland.9

First up, the dumbo elephant! It was a long queue but luckily, my little prince is pretty patient. Both of us queued while hb went to find out where can we go for lunch.
After the first ride, our little prince fell in love with rides and so we went on more rides together as a family. :) No queuing for photo taking as hb and I did not like to queue..hehe..

The driver of the day makes my head spins with his "great" driving skills.

This castle reminded me of the one when we visited Germany.

He insisted that daddy took this ride with him as army is for boys!! Haha..Something challenging for dear hb who is afraid of height. But yes, they had a great time taking the ride together. :)

My one and only exciting ride in this trip. Can you spot me? Thanks dear for looking after our boy and encouraging me to go for the ride. Yes, I am that worried of my baby boy.

We left the park at around 5pm. Little prince fell asleep immediately. Guess he had too much fun. Took a train to the town all because my dear darling wanted to eat roast goose.
While waiting for the train, we took lots of photos to pass time.

Ended day 3 with another Chinese dinner. I am starting to miss my fish and chips..

Hong Kong Day 4 - Up to the Peak

Day 4 in Hong Kong
We decided to explore Hong Kong and let our baby boy experienced tin tin tram again. He was super excited when we told him that we will be taking the tram again. As usual, he requested to sit at the upper deck and pretend to be the driver.

After lunch, we did something crazy! We brought the boy to climb The Peak. It took us 3 hours to reach the Peak and it was raining at the same time. Never did we expect our baby to be able to walk this long up the mountain. He certainly proves to us that he is ready to join us for more walking / trekking vacation. :)
During the walk up, we talked and laughed together as we tried to find the correct route. The sense of satisfaction is great when we reached the top.

Taking a short break at Starbucks after the hike. Something to reward ourselves. :)

On the way down, we decided to take the funicular. Another first experience for the boy.

Ended the night with a ferry ride to the other side of the island. Dear hb wanted to complete the adventure for our little boy by bringing him on a ferry ride. Check out our happy boy! He is easily contented with rides on different modes of transportation.

Last night in Hong Kong. Falling in love with this country all over again.

Hong Kong Day 2

Day 2 in Hong Kong

We were forced to go shopping as we needed to buy a pair of shoes for our little prince who lost one side of his shoes last night. And of all trips, this is the first time that I didn't bring along extra shoes for him. Check out his facial expression, he was forced to walk around with his socks only.

We took the free shuttle bus to Tung Chung Citygate Outlet shopping mall.

Before we start shopping for his shoes, we need to fill our tummies first. Kick start the day with Hong Kong Dim Sum at Federal Palace all because my baby boy insisted on having char siew bao!

Love the bonding time with my baby boy. :)

The boy and his love - Char Siew Bao. He can finished all 3 at one go!

Some of the dim sum that we ordered. Being a small eater, these look so little!

We managed to buy a new pair of boots for the little prince. He is so happy with his new shoes. Because we did not bring the stroller out, he had no choice but to walk and only cat nap in the MTR.

We met up with dear darling's Hong Kong friends and they brought us to have a nice meal at this restaurant. It was one of the nice meals that we had in Hong Kong.

That's sum up our 2nd day in Hong Kong. A relaxing day, walking around and spending time together.  I love holidays like this. :)

Hello Hong Kong

When we brought our little princess to Europe last December, we promised our little prince that we will be bringing him to Hong Kong Disneyland. Took advantage of Cathay Pacific promotion, and we managed to get the air tickets at less than $300 each. Good flight timing too.

Reached Changi Airport for check-in and was surprised to see my student taking the same flight too. :)

A seasoned traveller, our little prince knows exactly what to do once in the plane. He requested for his ear phone and started to explore the inflight movie. Shortly after, meal was served and he was happy to see his favourite hamburger and ice cream.

Check out my cheeky boy! I just love his cheeky face and cheerful smile. :p

Our first meal in Hong Kong is in 许留山. Love their mango pomelo sago! I had it at least 3 more times during the trip. :)

Took the free airport shuttle bus and reached our hotel shortly. Falling in love with the hotel room although it is a long walk from the lift lobby.

After resting for awhile, we went out for dinner and brought our little boy for a ride in the tram. He looked a little upset as I refused to allow him to go to the upper deck initially. But he definitely brighten up after we went up. :)

The happy boy when he got to sit at the upper deck!

End the day with my boy losing one side of his shoes as he accidentally stepped into the gap between the train and the platform on our way back to hotel.
